Since 2017, Affordable Benefits Company has represented Clientèle as a Juristic Representative — selling Clientèle Life and Legal cover. It's one of South Africa's most recognised insurers, JSE-listed, with decades of paying claims. That brand on your lanyard opens the door before you say a word.

Who are you joining?

An established team, proven across the country

This isn't a gamble on a start-up. Affordable Benefits Company has been representing Clientèle since 2017 — and today the machine already works at scale.

Proven at national scale

1,500+ field agents and 90+ teams across all nine provinces. You're plugging into a system that already produces results.

Licensed and above board

An Authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP 47161) and Juristic Representative of Clientèle. Treating clients fairly is part of our DNA.

A path to financial independence, not just a dead-end job

Today's strong agents become tomorrow's Team Owners — building their own business within ours. Your effort decides how far you climb and how much you earn — there's no ceiling.

How the money works

You get paid the moment you capture — then again when it pays

Two product lines, two capture fees, plus a bonus when the policy collects its first premium. Most commission roles make you wait — here you can cash out your capture fee every week.

01 / Debicheck capture

You capture the sale

R200

Every valid, completed Debicheck debit-order sale earns you R200*. Payable weekly or monthly — paid for the work you've done, not months later.

Per Debicheck sale
02 / SASSA capture

Funeral sales to SASSA members

R350

Funeral cover sold to SASSA grant recipients earns a higher R350 capture fee on every completed sale.

Per SASSA funeral sale
03 / P1 commission

The first premium collects

R400–R600

When a Debicheck policy's first premium is collected, you earn up to R600 over and above the capture fee. Better quality sales = more policies that pay = exponentially more income.

Paid on first premium (P1)

*R200 per Debicheck sale for your first 3 months, then a sliding scale of R100–R200 per sale from month 4.

Be honest with yourself

"But I want a basic salary."

We get it — a fixed number feels safe. But here's what that safety actually costs you.

A typical basic-salary job

The same amount, every month

  • × Your effort doesn't change your pay
  • × You limit your lifestyle to living within a fixed income
  • × A raise is linked to inflation — and happens once a year
  • × Your hard work and performance don't translate to higher earnings
Building your own salary

What you put in is what you take out

  • A good month is rewarded the same month
  • You determine how much you earn — effort and performance mean direct reward
  • Greater autonomy — you set your own schedule, not stuck behind a desk
  • Unlimited earnings and wealth creation = true financial independence
  • Fund and realise your lifestyle aspirations far faster
  • Build your own business within ours as a Team Owner
Straight answers

The questions everyone asks first

Correct — this is commission only. But it's not "earn nothing until something pays months later." You earn R200 the moment you capture a valid sale, then R400–R600 more when it pays its first premium. Your income starts in week one.

Everyone is. You won't be alone — you'll have a team leader for every small group of agents, real product training, and a network of agents you can lean on. The capture fee means even your early, learning sales put money in your pocket while you find your rhythm.

Yes. The agents who do best aren't the slickest salespeople — they're trusted in their own communities. If people know you, listen to you, and turn to you, you already have the hardest part. We teach you the products and the process.

No — but you must have Grade 12 (matric), be criminal-clear, and not be debarred in terms of FAIS. You'll work under supervision until you've gained enough experience to go solo. We'll guide you through every step of the process.

You bring your hustle, your phone, and your community. We'll be clear and upfront about anything involved before you commit — no surprises, no fees sprung on you later.

Yes. ABC has been a Juristic Representative of Clientèle since 2017 (FSP 47161), so you'll sell genuine Clientèle funeral and legal cover. It's a real, recognised brand South Africans already know and trust — which is exactly why it sells.

From the field

People who stopped waiting

Agents in their own words — the kind of month a basic salary never gave them.

"Everyone told me commission was a trap. First full month I cleared more than my old basic. I proved them wrong — and I'm not going back."

Thabo M.Soweto, Gauteng

"My church and my stokvel already trust me. I'm not 'a salesman' to them — I'm helping families get cover. The money followed the trust."

N
Nokuthula D.Durban, KZN

"Best part? A great week shows up in my account that same week. I gave myself a raise three times this year. No boss needed."
